Okay, have a couple of questions as I will be visiting Bahrain for the F1 race:

1. What electrical plugs do you use in Bahrain? Also what voltage?

2. Is it true that you need a permit to purchase/drink alcohol in Bahrain?

You need a Type G adapter for your appliances, you can purchase these at most airports or at many shops in Bahrain, they cost about US$2-3 depending on where you buy. Bahrain uses 230V.

Nope. Alcohol can be freely purchased at liquor stores, and at pubs, nightclubs and restaurants licensed to serve spirits. You can also buy it at the Arrivals Duty Free.[/quote]
