Gulf Air has come a long way since it launched services in 1950 as the Gulf Aviation Company. Owned by the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, the airline started as a small scale commuter service, serving the oil fields of the Gulf and some regional customers, and is now a major international airline, serving over 50 destinations worldwide. Featured here are travel pieces by the Visitor's Guide team on some of the destinations that Gulf Air flies to. We plan to expand this section, check back for more articles soon! |
